Upcoming events.
Lakeland Junk Journal Club
Join us for our next Junk Journal Club Meet-up.
Our meet-ups are designed for artists knowledgeable about junk journaling. This is not a traditional class. It is a chance to gather in a group and work independently in our journals alongside other creatives.
You will have access to the studio supplies (paint, papers, stencils, etc.) during the meet-up. Please bring your journal(s) and any “must have” supplies.
Our in-person workshops are designed as a creative escape for adults—time to relax, recharge, and reconnect with your artistic side. To maintain this environment, we kindly ask that all attendees be 18 or older. We are unable to accommodate children during class time. Thank you for understanding.
Arty Party - Vision Boards
Set your goals, dreams, and aspirations in motion at my Vision Board Workshop!
Vision boards are powerful tools for visualizing your future and manifesting your intentions. During this inspiring session, you'll learn how to create a personalized collage of images that represent your goals for 2026—whether they’re about personal growth, career success, travel, or creativity.
No supplies are needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to dream big! Leave with a beautifully crafted vision board to motivate and guide you throughout the year. Perfect for beginners and seasoned goal-setters alike.

Abstract Watercolors
Ready to shake off perfection and paint like you mean it? Join me for a half-day abstract watercolor workshop designed for beginners, intermediates, or anyone who wants to stop overthinking their brushstrokes.
We’ll dive into playful warm-ups that loosen your hand, quiet your inner critic, and get your creative energy moving. Then we’ll explore approaches inspired by abstract expressionism, while keeping things totally approachable and fun.
You’ll have plenty of time to experiment, practice, layer, splash, and discover your own visual language. No rules, no grades, just flowy color, expressive marks, and the joy of seeing what happens when you let watercolor do its thing.
Leave with fresh techniques, renewed confidence, and a stack of beautiful explorations you’ll want to keep flipping through.
Staying for a full day by adding the Art Bits workshop? You can also add lunch so you can just focus on arting.
New to watercolor? Add a watercolor kit and it will be waiting for you.

Art Bits
Get ready for the most delightfully addictive kind of playtime: making tiny pieces of art that spark BIG ideas. In this afternoon workshop, we’ll create “art bits” — the little treasures that bring journals, books, collages, and handmade cards to life.
We’ll dive into watercolor washes, playful pen work, stenciling, vintage paper, and a touch of stitching to pull it all together. Think of it as a buffet of creative techniques, where everything you make becomes beautiful, one-of-a-kind ephemera for future projects.
It’s relaxed, hands-on, and perfect for anyone who loves to experiment. You’ll leave with a pile of colorful pieces, patterns, textures, and stitched layers—ready to use, tuck, glue, staple, or hoard in a box and admire forever. (No judgment. We all have that box.)
Come play, make a mess, and build your stash. Your future self will thank you every time you reach for these little art gems.
All supplies are included and no experience is necessary.

Bookmaking
Spend the day building a book that’s anything but ordinary. In this workshop, we’ll create a handmade art book featuring “flags”—mini overlapping pages that flip, peek, and interact just like those childhood mix-and-match books where a lion could have flamingo legs. (Yes, it’s as fun as it sounds.)
You’ll learn the flag-book structure step-by-step, and then make it entirely your own through collage, color, pattern, and personal style. Even though the bones of the book are the same, no two creations will look alike. Each one becomes a reflection of its maker.
It’s a perfect mix of playful engineering and intuitive art-making. Expect cutting, gluing, decorating, experimenting… and more than a few “oh my gosh this is so cool” moments as your pages start to dance together.
Come build a book that flips, flutters, and surprises. You’ll walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece that’s equal parts handmade art and joyful curiosity.
All supplies are included.

Collage - week one
Ready to fall under the spell of collage? Join me for a four-week course, where we’ll explore the wonderfully scrappy, layered, story-filled world of collage art.
Each week, we’ll dive into hands-on exercises that build your skills without killing your vibe. Think composition and color… but taught the fun way. Think layering and mixed media… but with zero pressure and lots of “let’s just see what happens.” You’ll work with a mix of found materials, handmade papers, ephemera, textures, paints, and anything else you feel like cutting up.
We’ll experiment with adhesives (the good, the bad, and the ones I can’t live without), try surface treatments, build visual stories, and discover how collage can be both playful and powerful. Along the way, you’ll create individual pieces and begin developing a cohesive series—something that feels distinctly, unmistakably YOU.
Whether you’re brand-new or you’ve already got a stash of scraps you swear you’ll use someday, this workshop will help you loosen up, explore boldly, and grow confident in your own expressive collage voice.
Come cut things up and make something beautiful. It’s art therapy… minus the couch.
You are paying for a total of 4 classes (8 hours total)
