Meet Cheryl…
Cheryl Dossey is a mixed media collage/assemblage artist who enjoys mixing the past with the present, the old with the new. She is a collector at heart; nature and unique found objects are incorporated into most of her artwork. Her life long career in the picture framing industry was the inspiration for her artistic storytelling within the opportune shadow box. A recent passion she’s embracing; instructing others about the expressive medium of collage and assemblage.
Her simplistic style and neutral color palette has a broad appeal. Cheryl is a regular contributor to Somerset Studio Magazine with artwork being chosen for several covers. She has also been featured in Cloth Paper Scissors, Somerset Home, Somerset Life, Sew Somerset, Somerset Apprentice, and Somerset Holiday. Cheryl is also the owner of “frame & shop” which offers custom framing, home décor an ob-jets d’art.
