I spoke it into existence

If you’ve taken one of my classes in the past few years, you’ve probably heard me say (more than once), “One day, I want a studio big enough to host my own workshops.”

Well... I believe in putting dreams out into the world, speaking them aloud, and letting the universe meet you halfway. And now, I believe in it even more.

I always imagined that once my son graduated from high school, I’d have the time and energy to focus more fully on my art business. What I didn’t expect was for the universe to nudge me so quickly—just two weeks after his graduation party, in fact.

It all started with a text from a friend:
“Are you still looking for a space?”
Attached was a link to an Instagram video about a new project in town—an indoor market with a mix of creative vendors. Think: mini up-scale mall.

I called the same day. The next day, I toured the market space. It was still under construction, but the energy was exciting. As I wrapped up the tour, the manager casually asked, “Want to see the office spaces upstairs?”

I almost said no. I didn’t think an “office” was what I needed.

But when I walked in… I knew.

The “office” was a bright, oversized room with a huge window and enough space to comfortably host 12–15 people for a workshop. My heart said yes before I even realized I was holding the pen to sign the rental agreement.

Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of construction, painting, planning, and a brand-new A/C install (Florida, after all). Now we’re in the final stretch: unpacking supplies and prepping for our very first series of workshops in the new space.

I can’t wait to welcome you in.
